The European Innovative Users Group Conference 2008 will be held at London South Bank University in the Keyworth Centre, on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th September 2008 (but don't forget the pre-conference social on the evening of Wednesday 3rd September)

London South Bank University

You are invited to register booking is now open.

Innovative Interfaces will have a significant presence at the conference and we look forward to hearing more about Encore and Content Pro. In addition, III staff will be on hand throughout to answer questions.

In addition, we will have papers on WebPac Pro from Glasgow and on the experience at South Bank of running your system on virtual servers. Those of us looking to automate acquisitions processes (and who isn't) will be interested to hear of the experience at Bangor, and the work being done at Edge Hill with Coutts on managing reading lists and resulting requests promises to be interesting.

How St. Andrews are catering for specialist user groups using the catalogue will be a feature paper on the second day, along with a presentation from Warwick on digitisation using CONTENTdm, and news on Liverpool's implementation of Article Reach.

Shakespeare's Globe

The programme will be full and varied and our conference dinner will need to be something special. This year's dinner will be held at Shakespeare's Globe on the banks of the Thames. Spaces are limited for this, so you are advised to book early.

The conference represents excellent value for money, and we look forward to seeing you there. Keep an eye on the website for further details as they become available.
